Thermage is a revolutionary machine that provides a non-surgical and non-invasive means for body contouring. It administers radiofrequency energy into the skin to trigger its collagen production, thereby resulting to skin tightening and toning.

Good candidates for this procedure are middle-aged men and women who are suffering from sagging skin, which causes the formation of unsightly bulges and dimple marks on areas like the arms, stomach and thighs. The objective of the treatment is to reverse the adverse effects of aging on these problematic areas, by enabling the skin to regain its natural ability to abundantly produce collagen, which is the key to achieving smooth and youthful skin.

While it does help in toning and enhancing the shape of one’s body, Thermage is not a machine that one can rely on to achieve weight or fat loss. Nor should it be a subject of one’s addiction, to the point of undergoing treatment more than what is necessary or advisable. Instead, the key to achieving optimal results from this procedure is to first opt for and maintain a healthy lifestyle and diet, which, coupled with the Thermage treatment will lead to a more toned and shapely form.

It is also important to consult an expert physician before undergoing this procedure not only to ensure one’s suitability for it, but also to achieve optimal safety and results, and avert possible serious health risks.
